Several cases of Influenza A are still being reported at Shiloh. Be aware that a “bad cough” or cold symptoms can indicate a severe cold, bronchitis, Covid, influenza or even pneumonia. If your child is not acting “right," has difficulty breathing, or is becoming dehydrated, it could be serious. Fever is also an important symptom; when it occurs along with a sore throat, an earache, nausea, listlessness or a rash, your child may be carrying something very contagious. KEEP YOUR CHILD AT HOME FOR THE COURSE OF A FEVER AND FOR AN ADDITIONAL 48 HOURS AFTER THE FEVER HAS PASSED. Help protect your child and others by keeping your kids at home if they are sick. Update your contact information in the event that your child becomes ill or needs medical attention while at school.
