It's not too late to participate in our Veterans Day Hero Project! We hope to cover our walls with our Hero forms and honor all of our family and friends who have served in he armed forces. There is a Hero form attached, but they are also available in the student offices. We invite students in PreK-12th to participate in honoring friends and family members who have served at any point in time. Help us make this project a success!

Elementary and Junior High:
This is our first chilly week of the school year. Be prepared for outdoor recess in cooler temperatures. Please make sure your student is ready with coat, hoodie, gloves, and hat as appropriate for each day's expected weather.


Due to wet conditions, the Haunted Prairie will take place on Saturday, November 6, 2021.


Thank you to Newman Rehabilitation & Health Care for providing Halloween treat bags to our students in Pre-K through 3rd grades. The students loved them!


Don't forget about the Haunted Prairie! Join us on Saturday, October 30th, from 7 to 10 pm. Admission is $1. There will be a mildly scary and super scary option to accommodate all age groups. We can't wait to see you there!!!

Parent Portal for Illinois Assessment of Readiness (IAR) Available on October 26
ISBE is introducing the IAR Parent Portal (https://il-results.pearsonaccessnext.com/login) where parents/guardians can learn about their children’s performance on the IAR for English Language Arts/Literacy and Mathematics. The IAR Parent Portal User Guide has information on how to create an account, log in to the account, and add claim codes to access student score reports and video of Individual Student Reports (ISRs). The portal will also allow parents/guardians to track their student’s scores from year to year, beginning with the spring 2021 results. The IAR Parent Portal will be available to parents/guardians beginning October 26, 2021.

Congratulations to 7th grader, Alana Santiago, for qualifying to compete in the State Cross Country Meet this Saturday in Normal. Alana placed 3rd at Sectionals securing her spot at State. Alana will compete at 12:30 in the girl's 1A race. We are proud of you, Alana! Good luck!
