2021 Food Baskets
A HUGE thank you to all of the donors. We could not have done any of this without their generosity and support to help those in our community during this holiday season. We received a total of $5,200 in monetary donations this year! That total doesn't include all of the food, paper bags, and box donations.
Thank you Student Council and FFA members for all of your hard work and love of serving others! Not many people can say that they were able to help 48 families, 154 people, during this holiday season and complete an estimated $15,000 project for those in need throughout our community!
Today, we had a visit from Shiloh alum, Courtney Porter. Courtney started a fundraiser in honor of her mom, Gail, to raise money for local families in need during the holidays both at Shiloh, where she went to school and played basketball, and Lincoln Trail Elementary in Mahomet where she was Assistant Principal for 10 years. Courtney has biked over 500 miles and run over 100 miles for the fundraiser, named "Gail's Wish" after Courtney's mom who passed away in 2015 from Multiple Myeloma. Gail believed in donating locally and helping families who needed a little extra, especially around the holidays. Today, Courtney donated $1000 to our district to help families this holiday season. We cannot thank her enough for her generous gift and the happiness it will bring.

Due to the number of students quarantined, the elementary Winter Concert scheduled for Tuesday, December 21st has been canceled. We will attempt to reschedule in January and will update after the break.

Due to the number of students quarantined, the JH/HS Winter Concert on Wednesday, December 15th, will be rescheduled for January 12th at 7:00 pm.

Shiloh CUSD #1 currently has 50 staff/students in quarantine and 8 positive cases. We are taking every precaution to keep these numbers down and to keep our staff and students safe and healthy.

TCT HS Girls Volleyball Awards Night will be Monday (12/20) at 7 pm at Kansas HS (New gym).
The following changes will occur in our scheduled basketball games as follows:
Thurs (12/9) TCT vs Okaw Valley at Kansas HS - We will be playing a shortened JV game due to OV having low numbers of athletes for this game. This means that the Varsity game will be starting earlier than planned - as this is Senior Night, please make adjustments as needed.
Sat (12/11) TCT vs Altamont at Lakeland College - Altamont does not have enough athletes to play both games, so this will now be a Varsity only event. The Varsity game will now start at 10 am and be the only game played. The bus pickup times to take the team to Lakeland will stay the same.

Tonight's HS Girls Basketball Game against Villa Grove has been canceled. Practice will be held 4-6pm at Shiloh.
Tonight's HS Girls Basketball game (Away) at Villa Grove will only be a Varsity contest - no JV game tonight. The Varsity game will begin at 6 pm at Villa Grove HS.
The Shiloh JH Boys Basketball game for tonight (Monday 12/6) has been postponed due to lack of officials. There will be no practice tonight either. The team will practice again on Tuesday 12/7 after school.
Shiloh's JH Girls Volleyball team will not be practicing after school on Monday as scheduled. Instead, the team should plan to practice on Tuesday (12/7) after school. We will keep you posted.
