Thank you Jayme, Lonnie, Ross, and Donna for all you do!

Please be aware that a few cases of Pink Eye have been discovered at Shiloh. If you notice that your child has red, irritated, or green/yellow colored drainage coming from their eyes, please make an appointment with your doctor as soon as possible. DO NOT send them to school with symptoms of pink eye. If your child is found to have symptoms of this infection, they will be sent home from school promptly.

Tri-County Football Homecoming festivities will be held in Oakland on Friday, September 28th. There will be a Pep Rally at noon at Oakland for HS students only, and a parade that will begin at 2:45.
High School students are allowed to leave after 4th hour (11:18) for the Pep Rally. There will be a bus for the transportation of athletes only. The bus will return after the Pep Rally and will NOT stay for the parade. If you would like your HS student to be allowed to leave after 4th hour, you must contact the school to give permission before the end of the day on Thursday. Students will not be allowed to leave without permission.
Junior High and Elementary students will be allowed to leave at 12:07 to enjoy the parade with their family if you wish. You must contact the office to give your permission as well as the designated pick-up person for your student in grades Prek through 8 before the end of the day on Thursday.
All students in Prek-8 who are leaving early will be dismissed at 12:07 and will be brought out to the front of the school as a group to be picked up by their designated person (just as they are dismissed at the end of the day for normal pick up). This is to minimize classroom interruptions for our teachers and students who will be staying at school. Please feel free to contact the office with any questions.
To give permission for your HS, JH, or elementary student to leave early Friday, contact Jenni before the end of the day Thursday by phone at 217-531-1850 ext 1, or by email at weber-hallj@shiloh1.org.

On National Family Day we want to thank all of the families that came out earlier this month for our Grandparents Lunch.
From nationaltoday.com: National Family Day, celebrated on September 26, puts the spotlight on the people that make our lives meaningful. Families come in many forms and sizes and under different circumstances, but what they all share is unconditional love and support.

Everyone from 4th through 12th had fun with Attaboy today!

Atta Boy will be performing a free concert this evening, September 25, at 7 PM in the high school gym. They will discuss their faith through music, which is completely different from the motivational concert they gave to our students today. This evening's concert is NOT a school sponsored event. They went through the process of securing our school facilities as anyone can.
Since this is not school sponsored, if you would like supervision for your student, you will need to provide/arrange that supervision for the concert. If you have any questions/concerns, please contact the school.

Today is the 1st quarter midterm. You can log into your TeacherEase parent portal and check your student's current grades, attendance, and behavior.
This is a good time to consider the importance of good attendance. So far 40% of elementary students, 41% of junior high students, and 39% of high school students at Shiloh have been healthy, here, and ready to learn as demonstrated by missing zero days of school!

Next week is Homecoming week, and everyone is invited to participate!

Kiddie Cheer Camp forms must be turned into the Elementary/JH office with the fee before 2:30 today.
